About Varuni Napoli
Neapoletan Pizzeria

Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 5β9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (404) 709-2690. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is varuni.us, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 1,511 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italian restaurants in Atlanta.
Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Atlanta peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

When I tell you I looked at this pizza with such disappointment- considering the price! Barely any cheese, and the sauce? Yeahβ¦ they must be very conservative with it. Definitely not what I was expectingβ¦. That said, the flavor was actually tasty, and the crust was solid. I may have to try it in person and get it fresh before making a final judgment. All in all, do better!

This place is perfection. The pizza is incredible. We also had an order of meatballs and a salad which were also terrific. The pizza chefs were so interactive with our kiddos and had fun with them at the counter while they were cooking. My kids LOVE Varuni. It is a great place to dinner near the beltline but not in the middle of the craziness of the beltline. A true Atlanta gem.

This place is a absolute gem. I stopped by for lunch and was so impressed by the quality of the food. Watching the kitchen staff prepare the pizzas right behind the counter was a highlight of my visit. The crust on the pizza was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of char on the edges. I really enjoyed the combination of fresh toppings, especially the savory mushrooms and caramelized onions. I will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.

We went here on a Saturday night and it was the perfect amount of people. Our kids made doughnuts with the little pieces of dough they gave us and they were nice enough to cook them for us! We got to watch them cook and all the staff were really kind.

The best pizza I've had in a long time. The mozzarella sticks were amazing. We tried two of the cannoli, the pistachio cheesecake and Nutella calzone. All were delicious. We had three different pizzas, you can't go wrong with any of them.
